Parents and Students


	Thank you for your interest in *Sacramento* *Adventist Academy*. SAA welcomes international students who have basic English abilities and the desire to integrate in an English speaking classroom.
	SAA is a private, K-12 School. It was established in 1958 and declare as it's goal to fulfill God’s mission to mankind by following the biblical examples set forth by Jesus.
	SAA's mission is to provide a value-centered Christian education in an environment of academic excellence. *Sacramento Adventist Academy* fraction in conjunction with the *Seventh-day* *Adventist Church* policies and procedures and has a *no tolerates* for smoking or drinking policy.
	To complete the international application to Sacramento Adventist Academy, the following are needed:

The following are needed

	1.	Application for SAA.
	2.	Three recommendations from two teachers and one administrator or advisor that include the student’s ability to read and understand English, and classroom behavior.
	3.	Student Medical Record form (physical).
	4.	Personal immunization record with the required California immunizations.
	5.	Most recent official transcript of grades/marks, translated to English.
	6.	Copy of recent bank statement translated to dollars which is proof of financial viability.
	7.	Writing Sample.
	8.	Legal document from parents giving legal guardianship to sponsor.
	9.	Sponsor/Host Information Form.
	10.	$25.00 application fee.
	11.	$250.00 non-refundable I-20 Processing fee.
	12.	Copy of the students current passport.


	Upon receipt and reviewed of these documents by the Admissions Committee, an I-20 form will be issued to the sponsor in the United States to be sent to the student’s parents. Once the I-20 form has been completed, the parents will present the form to the nearest U.S. consulate to obtain the student visa.
	You must also prove to the consulate that you have the financial resources required for your education and stay in the United States and money set aside for air fare home in case of emergency or disciplinary action. SAA requires the entire school year’s tuition and fees to be paid in advance.
