Sacramento Adventist Academy
has a non-discrimination policy applies to, but is not limited to, administration of school policies, application for admission, awarding of scholarships, and permitting attendance at extra-curricular activities.
CRITERIA FOR ADMITTANCE
Students are admitted only after:
1. An application has been properly filled out and submitted—including applicable fees and required supplemental documentation.
2. Sacramento Adventist Academy has received required recommendation forms.
3. They pass required entrance exams.
4. They receive approval by the Administrator and/or Admissions committee, which reserve the right to conduct evaluation interviews with any student seeking to attend Sacramento Adventist Academy.
Each student’s acceptance is subject to review by the Sacramento Adventist Academy Admissions Committee, and all new students will automatically be on probation during their first full 9-week grading period (one quarter).

Welcome New Kindergarden and 1st Grade Students
Dear Prospective Student and Parents:

Thank you for your interest in Sacramento Adventist Academy.  Students at SAA receive an outstanding academic experience in a uniquely Christian environment.

Kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1 of the current calendar year. First Grade students must be six on or by December 2 of the current calendar year. (The state of California has a minimum age requirement of five by December 2 for Kindergarten and six by December 2 for first grade.) Kindergarten students whose birthdays fall between September 1 and December 2 of the calendar year will be considered on a case by case basis, as space is available.

All new students entering Kindergarten or the First Grade will be evaluated for readiness. The school may request academic testing of any student applying to SAA.

Dear Prospective Student and Parents:

Thank you for your interest in Sacramento Adventist Academy.  Those of us who work here believe our students receive an outstanding academic experience in a uniquely Christian environment.

Enclosed are the materials you will need to apply.  Applications will not be reviewed for acceptance until ALL information is submitted (immunizations, birth certificate, etc.).  We will accept applications beginning March.  The school may request academic testing of any student applying to SAA.

Returning Students
Dear Sacramento Adventist Academy Students and Parents:

Plans are already well underway for the this school year.  We are looking forward to many new and exciting endeavors during the next year.

One of these is to continue to streamline the registration process for all of our students, changing some of our procedures, and placing our registration documents on the school website, www.sacaa.org.
